  • Martvili Canyons

Martvili is in the Samegrelo region which was made by the Abasha River. Its full length is 2400 meters, depth is 20 to 40 meters, and the width is 5 to 10 meters. In its’ middle part, it has a 25 meter waterfall and many natural bridges. This canyon includes two parts i.e the upper and the lower. It has a pedestrian walkway with small squares in the lower part and river part of Abasha river in the upper.

 

  • Prometheus Cave

The Prometheus Cave is also known as Kumistavi Cave can be found in the Tskaltubo city. It is counted in the list of famous sites of Imereti and the largest cave in Georgia. The length of the cave is 11 km but only 1 km is open for exploring. The best thing is that you are not prohibited to take photo of the caves. Its exploration time takes around 50 minutes.

 

  • Krubera Cave

Krubera cave is in the Abkhazia region in Arabika Massif. It is the deepest cave in the world with 2190 meters deep and 2320 meters above the sea level. It was first discovered by Georgian speleogistsin 1960 who  explore up to 95 meter of depth. It become the deepest cave on earth when the Ukrainian Speleological Association who reached the depth of 1710 meters.

 

  • Black Rock Lake

Black Rock Lake is in the Lagodekhi Municipality in Kakheti at 2,800 meters above sea level. Its southern and northern parts touches different places i.e. borders of Georgia and Republic of Dagestan, Russian Federation. Its access route is counted in the most interesting hiking routes in Georgia. While hiking, you will find Lagodekhi nature Reserve, the diverse of flora and funna, views of Alazani Valley and the Caucasus mountains.

 

  • Tusheti National Park

It is in the Eastern part of Caucasus Mountains in Akhmeta Municipality in Kakheti region. It covers the area of 320 square miles and made in 2003. This National Park has alpine meadows, glaciers, peaks, river headwaters, rare species of animals plants and pine forest. It has 11 tourist hiking routes and rich in unique historical, cultural and natural landscapes. Tourists can take part in lots of activities like hiking, cycling, horseback riding, etc.

 

  • Kolkheti National Park

This park was built in 1999 and can be found in the western Georgia. It covers the area of 170 square miles in which includes 5 districts of Georgia i.e. Zugdidi, Khobi, Senaki, Abasha, and Lanchkhuti. It has also two historical parts i.e. Samegrelo and Guria. This park has various historical and cultural monuments like Nokalakevi, Khobi Monastery, Dadiani Palace, and Rukhi Fortress.

 

  • Lake Ritsi

Ritsi Lake is in Abkhazia at 884 meters above sea level. This is a large lake in Georgia which is covered with mountains offering beautiful views to the visitor. This lake is joined by 6 rivers with a depth of 116 meters and the deepest lake in the Caucasus. It was once a popular attraction at the time of Soviet period but now declared as the part of Russia-aligned Republic of Abkhazia.
