The team at Hair Co BKLYN is excited to announce our first charity event which is taking place this summer called Get a Cut, Give a Cut – To a Woman or Child in Need. For every person who gets a haircut at either of our salons in Clinton Hill and Prospect Heights between July 17th and August 12th, we will donate a haircut to the Brooklyn Chapter of The Center Against Domestic Violence. By getting a haircut during this time, you will be helping someone in need get one in return!

The week after the summer charity event, we will be spending several days at The Center Against Domestic Violence shelters in Brooklyn providing complimentary services. We’re looking forward to cutting lots of hair during this time, and hope many of you help to make sure that happens!

In addition to this charity event, we will also be offering self-defense training to families from our Dojan (World Martial Art Center) at 540 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. Representing our salons in Brooklyn will be one of our co-owners who is a lifelong martial artist. He and an honored female Master Black Belt will be providing this training.

We’re honored to support our community in new ways every year! We hope to see many of our fellow Brooklynites come forward to help us out with our efforts to give back to the incredible Brooklyn community that’s given us so much! If you need a haircut from now through August 12th, please book an appointment today at either of our two salons, Prospect Heights Clinton Hill, so you can lend a helping hand to someone else! We hope to be very busy giving haircuts at both of our salons during this time so we can help deserving women and kids get their hair cut too!
