Week 1 fantasy football projections rank

When it comes to weekly fantasy football projections and rankings, one thing is certain: You can never get enough. The more stats and expert opinions you can solicit, the better it will make Carl Banks Jersey your start em, sit em decisions. This is even true in Week 1 when fantasy owners might not have as many lineup questions.Because we believe in the more is better approach to fantasy research, were happy to offer SN Fantasy readers an exclusive sneak peek at Draft Sharks award-winning projections and rankings every week, and well highlight a couple players at each position below who really stand out in their rankings compared to our. To see Draft Sharks' full Week 1 stat projections and rankings, including their exclusive 3D floor-to-ceiling projections, become a Draft Sharks' member today at the link below!DOMINATE YOUR LEAGUE: (Draft Sharks) Spotlight Player: Aaron Rodgers, Packers @ Vikings (SN Ranking: 11 | DS Ranking: 17)SN is higher on Rodgers than Draft Sharks, giving him the benefit of the doubt against a Vikings' team he's had succe s against in the past (252 yards/game, 56:7 TD-to-INT ratio in 27 games). The reason for Draft Sharks' hesitation likely has to do with the uncertainty surrounding his new receiving corps, and while that's a valid concern, we still think he'll produce starting-caliber numbers against a familiar foe. We at least think he's a little safer than Matthew Stafford, who has a tougher matchup and is dealing with an elbow injury, and Trey Lance, who's largely unproven in just his third career start.SN's WEEK 1 FANTASY PPR RANKINGS: | | | | | (Draft Sharks) Spotlight Player:Damien Harris, Patriots @ Dolphins (SN PPR Ranking: 27 | DS PPR Ranking: 34)SN and Draft Sharks are just seven spots Kayvon Thibodeaux Jersey apart on Harris in PPR rankings, but it's worth noting Draft Sharks has him below Rhamondre Stevenson while we do not. We still project Harris as the more likely player to score touchdowns on goal-line carries, giving him that slight edge. Stevenson will catch more pa ses, which certainly raises his floor in PPR leagues, so there's legit reason to rank him higher and project him to be slightly "safer." We'll know a lot more about this situation after Week 1.Spotlight Player:James Robinson, Azeez Ojulari Jersey Jaguars @ Commanders (SN PPR Ranking: 41 | DS PPR Ranking: 54)Robinson's return from a torn Achilles has been rapid, all things considered, and it's unclear what his role will be if he suits up in Week 1. Travis Etienne is fully expected to be the lead back, but we can't shake the feeling that Robinson will be more involved than some think if he's active. Given his talent and bulldozing ability near the goal line, he could steal key touches from Etienne. Nonethele s, Draft Sharks' approach of playing it safe with Robinson is likely the right call.SN's WEEK 1 STANDARD FANTASY RANKINGS: | | | | | (Draft Sharks) Spotlight Player:Diontae Johnson, Steelers @ Bengals (SN PPR Ranking: 11 | DS PPR Ranking: 28)Clearly, Draft Sharks doesn't trust the Steelers' QB situation, and their projections might also be factoring in the shoulder injury Johnson suffered Aug. 28. We're a suming he's healthy, and if he is, we're expect him to catch much more than 5.2 balls Draft Sharks is conservatively projecting. Johnson averaged 6.7 catches and 72.6 yards per game last year, establishing himself as one of the most consistent pa s-catchers in the NFL. He also tore up a poor Bengals pa s defense to the tune of nine catches for 95 Mark Bavaro Jersey yards in his one game against them. It might be best to split the difference between Draft Sharks' and SN's rankings and consider Johnson a mid-tier WR2 this week.Spotlight Player:Chris Olave, Saints @ Falcons (SN PPR Ranking: 44 | DS PPR Ranking: 54)Like all rookie WRs, Olave is a mystery heading into Week 1. With Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry healthy, it's tempting to think Olave won't see many targets, but we like his ability as the Saints' top deep threat. We know Jameis Winston isn't afraid to air it out, and against a mediocre pa s defense, we could see some big plays from the youngster. Being conservative with rookies, especially WRs, is usually smart, so a WR5 grade from Draft Sharks makes sense.DOMINATE YOUR LEAGUE: (Draft Sharks) Spotlight Player:Evan Engram, Jaguars @ Commanders (SN PPR Ranking: 20 | DS PPR Ranking: 8)Bottom line: We've been burned by Engram too many times in the past to trust him as a Week 1 starter, especially now that he's on a new team. We all know the talent is there for big Evan Neal Jersey things, but until we actually see him get consistent targets (and production) with the Jaguars, we'll be cautious. The real le son here is that there isn't much difference between TEs 10-20, so even though it looks like a wide spread, most of these guys are TD-or-bust or anyway. Any can produce starter-worthy numbers in a given week, so if you're digging that deep for your starter, it's best to play the matchups once more data is available. (Draft Sharks) Spotlight Team:Tenne see Titans vs. Giants (SN Lawrence Taylor Hoodies Sweatshirts Ranking: 16 | DS Ranking: 6)We pride ourselves on being matchup-oriented with our D/ST rankings every week, but Draft Sharks takes it to another level. As much as we like Tenne see's matchup against turnover-prone Daniel Jones, we still worry a little about the overall talent that side of the ball, especially with Harold Landry (knee) hurt. That's why we still have Tenne see behind the Rams, Bills, and Cowboys, among others. Draft Sharks throws the names out the window, ranking those much higher-drafted D/STs far below the Titans. We don't hate it and wouldn't be surprised one bit if Draft Sharks was closer to the final Week 1 rankings.
